I built the first version for my own 2024 Alpharetta home.
Within the first year, I couldn’t find the instruction manual for a ceiling fan that needed programming. The paint sticker on the can had worn off — no color code. When the HVAC filters needed replacing, I didn’t know the model number. A million-dollar purchase, and I was digging through emails and folders of documents for basic answers.
I realized a $50 coffee maker comes with more documentation than a million-dollar home. That’s when I built AsBuilt: a record of the home captured during construction, handed to the buyer at closing, and theirs forever.
